CODE ENFORCEMENT

 
The Cramerton Police Department is responsible for enforcement
of the Town's Code of Ordinances relating to many subjects
including; but not limited to, high grass and weeds, junk motor vehicles, and much more. Below is a submission form, if you feel
that a violation is occurring within the Town's corporate limits
please include as much detailed information as you can and
click submit. Code Enforcement personnel will then be in
contact with you regarding the violation.

CODE ENFORCEMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The Cramerton Police Department Code Enforcement Unit is responsible for aggressively enforcing state law and local ordinances intended to reduce public hazards that create blight and adversely affect the quality of life of residents within the Town.

 


CODE ENFORCEMENT GOALS

  • Target criminal offenders and others who maintain dilapidated housing conditions that create health hazards and blight in our neighborhoods.

  • Aggressively pursue irresponsible absentee landlords

  • Decrease the number of repeat code violators by creating a system of issuing civil fines to the responsible party and/or the filing of criminal charges.

  • Work with the community to eradicate problem areas that create health hazards, reduce the quality of life, and reduce property values

  • Effectively work with other town departments by assisting them in enforcing code violations with citizens who refuse to comply with town rules and regulations.

  • Effectively enforce the Town's sign ordinance to improve the visual esthetics of our Town.
