Cramerton Police Investigate Pedestrian Hit & Run

Cramerton Police are investigating a hit & run collision that occurred at approximately 8:30 pm on Wednesday evening. A mother and her 12 year old daughter were struck by a vehicle that left the scene. The collision occurred on Timberlane Drive near South Fork Lane in the Timberlake Subdivision in Cramerton.

 

Information gathered at the scene indicated that the suspect vehicle crossed the centerline, leaving the left shoulder of the roadway, striking a small tree, mailbox, and then the victims. The vehicle then left the scene toward Eastwood Drive. Witnesses at the scene advised that the vehicle appeared to be a mid-size passenger car, but could not identify a color as the vehicle sped away with high beam head lights on.

 

Captain Chris Baxter stated that details concerning the suspect vehicle are limited at this time, stating only that the vehicle is a passenger car that may have damage to the front left fender and left side of the vehicle. Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the collision. Officials are asking that anyone with information concerning the suspect vehicle or collision to please contact Cramerton Police.
